Located directly on the banks of the Aare River, with unobstructed views of the Harder Kulm and the Bernese Alps, “La Belle Rivière” will open its doors in May this year. Following an extensive redesign, it has become exactly what Interlaken has long deserved: a place to arrive, unwind, and savour the moment.
Whether enjoying a refreshing cocktail at the bar, a light snack in the lounge, or an ice cream in the evening sun, “La Belle Rivière” offers something for every occasion. The terrace experience is complemented by the adjoining restaurant, serving a daily changing lunch menu as well as a creative evening selection.
Every Saturday evening from June to September, the terrace transforms into “Sunset Beats & BBQ” – a culinary highlight featuring live DJ sounds under the open sky.

Every Saturday evening from June to September, our terrace transforms into “Sunset Beats & BBQ”—the ultimate summer event on the banks of the Aare. DJ Quincy provides the perfect live soundtrack for the sunset, while first-class specialties are prepared for you fresh off the grill.
