MOONLIGHT FONDUE
Wednesday, 5 November to Saturday, 8 November 2025 | from 6.30 PM
As the days grow shorter and the evening sky is bathed in silver light, the Grand Beau-Rivage invites you to a truly special culinary experience. From Wednesday, 5 November to Saturday, 8 November 2025, from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm, the Bar Terrace transforms into an atmospheric setting beneath the full moon.
The evening begins with a warming mulled wine & punch aperitif served over the open fire, its inviting aroma filling the air. This is followed by a refreshing lamb’s lettuce salad as a starter, before the highlight of the evening: a creamy cheese fondue – either the traditional recipe or the “Jäger style” variation with mushrooms.
The evening is accompanied by a fine selection of wines, available separately. Service takes place on the bar terrace, where fur throws, blankets and cushions provide cosy warmth. In case of bad weather, the experience moves to the «La Petite Suisse» restaurant.
The Moonlight Fondue is deliberately kept small and intimate, with a maximum of 10 guests per evening. The price is CHF 65 per person and includes the mulled wine aperitif, starter, fondue and mineral water.
This event takes place outdoors under the full moon. Warm clothing is recommended—blankets and pillows make it wonderfully cozy nonetheless.
